Dragon Ball FighterZ is the next video game Dragon Ball of combat in 2.5D, edited by Bandai Namco. It will be released in early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and will be developed by Arc System Works. The same ones who made Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden, released June 11, 2015 in Japan and October 16, 2015 in France. This new DBZ video game will use a three-on-three team combat system, allowing players to play with the affinities between characters to form the ultimate fighters team. It will offer "ultra-fast fights" and "flashy movements" loyal to the TV series Dragon Ball. According to producer Tomoko Hiroki, unlike the Dragon Ball titles of recent years that were 3D, the choice of the 2.5D will allow things that could only be done in this style. It looks like 2D at first glance, but the 2.5D will allow a wider range of expression, and we can move the camera angles which will allow to reproduce scenes not possible in 2D.
